Roast Asparagus
Ingredients
- Asparagus
- Oil
- Salt
- Pepper
- Lemon
- Parmesan (optional)
Directions
Preheat oven to 425°F
- Coat Asparagus in oil on baking sheet(s). Avoid overcrowding
- Add salt and pepper to taste (aiming for the heavy side).
- Bake in oven for 17 minutes, shorter for thin stalks. For more crispiness substitute the broiler for the last few minutes.
- Add lemon to taste.
- Add Parmesan if desired.
Commentary
You can sub out the salt for other salty things such as soy sauce or balsamic vinegar. Might want to skip the lemon, parmesan, and/or pepper in that case, though soy sauce and pepper has worked fine.
